Start Your Journey as a Foster Carer
Fostering is about showing up for a child who needs consistency, care, and a safe space to land. Many children in care have experienced loss or trauma – what they often need most is someone who notices, listens, and stays.
Thinking of Fostering? Let’s Explore What It Means.
At Synergy Fostering, we keep children at the heart of everything we do. We’re a small, family-run agency, and we’ve chosen to stay that way. It means we know our carers personally, and we’re closely involved in the lives of the children we support. You’re never just a number here. Fostering isn’t always easy, but you won’t be alone. We work closely with our carers, offering full training, regular check-ins, and 24/7 support from people who genuinely care. We also train all our carers in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention for Families (TCIF) (link) – helping you respond to children with understanding, not punishment.
